The last episode really pissed me off. Alex choose to save her friends over magic and Justin and max were so mean to her about it. Everyone always complained about how selfish she was but when she decided to be selfless everyone treated her like shit. The audacity.

She does get most of the attention because she's the only girl. That was proven when Max was accidentally turned into a girl. She then suffered from middle child syndrome.

You should definitely do a Jayalysis on London Tipton. There’s so much depth to her rather than just being a spoiled rich girl with homesite problems

Imo she’s one fo the best main characters any children’s tv show had. Even though the supporting cast was great, Alex never had to rely on them. Also she wasn’t the new girl who lacked confidence like Tori or Sonny.

If you watched the movie where they were on vacation, Alex won the competition there too. Everything only got reversed Bc she wanted everything to go back to normal. So Alex won the competition twice.

As lazy as Alex was, I didn’t like how her parents treated her toward the end. Especially how they favored Harper over their own kid

6:49 literally, Justin is so selfish, he is only worried about himself, that’s why he didn’t deserve to be the family wizards. Those aren’t Max’s friends, so he doesn’t really have to care. If I was Zeke and my best friend didn’t care enough about me to come and save him (but his sister who isnt even my friend did), then I wouldn’t be his friend

In the movie there's this part where they have to open a door to save their family but only a person with a pure intention can do it. When Justin tries it doesn't work, but when Alex does it the path opens for her. Later Alex said that she was thinking in saving her family, but Justin said he was thinking of how cool would it be for him to save his family. That itself just shows why Alex won the competition.

I always loved Alex, she grew through the series and felt very real. In regards to Max, as a kid I felt bad for him bc I thought the in world logic for the ‘family wizard’ was inherently rigged against youngest siblings. Their elders would have much more time to train and be made familiar with the world.

The whole wizarding competition as a whole is so damaging to family relations. Look at how much Jerry’s sister hated him and his brother cuz she lost. And Stevie and her brother. I also don’t think the ending was fair. So 2/3 of the siblings got to keep their powers. If the rules were being bent for Justin, how come max didn’t get to keep his powers. All he was left with was the sub shop. Really??? I don’t even understand why Justin was the new dean or whatever. As smart as I’m sure he is, was there no one more experienced than he was to run a school? Really. Their only option was a kid who just graduated high school.

Is it just me or does Justin treat her badly when she becomes a better person. He criticizes her and treats her like a bad person when he contributes to his bad mistakes. At first, he cleans her messes and then later she does. I cried every time he and max messed up her orders and literally threw things at her all because she wanted to save their friends versus winning the wizard competition. She didn’t deserve that. She tried keeping her head down and trying to make things better. They upped the ante with their cruel behavior.
I am not condoning her bad behavior, but I felt she deserved better at times.

Can we talk about how they shamed Alex for using her powers after becoming the family wizard.

The part that angers me the most is in Alex vs Alex how she tries to help her family by making a wizard speed pass and all her parents can do is berate her and tell her to grow up and be like Justin. In that movie Alex even stated she never got a party or praise for winning the wizard tournament and Justin has gotten multiple parties. Her parents berate her to the point she tries to get rid of all the bad. Basically ending herself and becoming a new person! I feel if they had congratulated her maybe gave her a party and quit telling her to grow up and be like her brother then that whole movie wouldn’t of happened. Also her parents are mad she made a wizard speed pass but the extended family is impressed and praise her. Jerry and Theresa are horrible parents.

YES. I HAVE BEEN THINKING THAT EXACT THING FOR SO LONG. THEY ACTUALLY CARED MORE ABOUT THEIR POWERS THAN ABOUT THEIR FRIENDS' LIVES.
