I've noticed a lot of people saying that Beck and Jade count as an interracial couple. I know Avan Jogia is half Indian, but is it ever stated that Beck is?

Andre has been there for everyone in the show, he’s emotional but he can calm and deal with it when he has to or when his friends need him

Andre to me was a cool character but the problem is that he stayed the same character throughout the entire show and didn't really give him any episode where he got to be a more branch and better character

What always annoyed me about Andre, was the fact that when he would get a big opportunity ie: to perform for a music producer or enter a contest, he would always tell Tori I’ll only do it if you do it with me” these opportunities literally only benefit him and it doesn’t makes sense for him to not go for it just because of Tori.

André should’ve gotten much more screen time. There have been more than a few times where I actually saw myself in him, especially considering he’s black. He was definitely the most sane out of all the characters.

i find it super interesting that andre is supposed to be best friends with beck, but it's very obvious that tori is his best friend. they hang out everyday, they make music together and perform together, they help each other with school and relationship problems, and he stayed with her when he couldn't take living with his grandma anymore. i think it's an interesting choice that andre would go stay with tori and her entire family rather than just beck in his rv, y'know? i actually think jade has a lot to do with it. obviously her and andre are friends and get along very well, but i imagine that beck had to start making more time for her, therefore less for andre.

honestly i wish we could get more glances back into what their friend group was like before tori. even before beck and jade dated. do you think they were all friends already or that the group came together when beck and jade did? jade and cat are best friends, that checks out. andre and beck are best friends, also checks out. the only one i have questions about is robbie, but i think it's possible he was friends with andre and/or beck before anyone else. i can for sure see either them hanging out with robbie bc they felt bad, and then it just stuck. and they all became a group, and eventually tori joined after meeting andre and being accepted into the school

Thank you for mentioning the fact that it was refreshing to see that Tori and Andre remained as friends. Throughout my childhood, I could only name a few shows where the female lead doesn't end up with the male best friend. I felt like Tori and Andre really reinforced the idea that women and men can remain completely platonic!

I think it's funny how everyone remembers Victoria Justice appeared in iCarly as Shelby Marx but people forget that Leon Thomas was in iCarly as Harper (and reluctantly as Zeebo).

Honestly Nicko just used him for tokenism and I hate it they barely gave him his own story throughout the series and barely let his character develop.
