Will this Classic Mercedes W126 Start after 10 Years? Amazing😍

The cars in this video would certainly catch my attention due to the utterly hideous third party wheels and other accessories.

So glad the 300D was #1 my dad worked for a Mercedes dealer way back. Retired from them in 1993. Always loved the 300D and 300TD along with the 500SL. As an owner of 2014 C63 coupe. Yes I love the one I own. But want to find some older one's as well. Nothing beats the 80s for Mercedes. But hey just my opinion. Just such an iconic look for them

W124, W202, W201 and of course W210 is everywhere in my country Azerbaijan. These are best options to buy (reliable and comfortable) for daily driving in here. People love those old mercs. İncluded me :), They have at least 1 million km on them no doubt, Diesels are mostly used as taxi.

ANY of the diesel W123 and W126 chassis’ are absolutely excellent choices. No matter the mileage or condition. Same with W126 M103 300SEs and W210 and W124 E-classes. Mercedes builds TANKS.

A decent W210 can be found in my neck of the rust belt for under 2K (I paid $1500 for mine and it's by no means a beater). The others...not so much. If I ever move somewhere without the intense rust issues, I'll be looking for a nice 300D.

I would also say the W140, sometimes and sometimes you might be able to get a W140 for a good price, also how about the W126, you might be able to pick up a car at a good price, and if it has been well kept it could last a long time

Another awesome vid. Just hit the thumbs up & the subscribe button. So cool to see the W123 300D Turbodiesel make it to the very top. That's continued to be my #1 favorite Mercedes Sedan. The only reason I have an '83 240D w/ stick shift as opposed to an '83-4 300D Turbo is that it's SO close to the 300 Turbo on my favorites list and has little less electricals & therefore appears to a little bit simpler & slightly cheaper to own. I've had some runners up for my favorite sedans from the W126 S-Class which include the gutsy 560SEL along with the one that started that trend in 1968 and lasted thru most of '72, the 300SEL 6.3. And one of my newest runners up is 1986-7 300SDL along with the 1990-1 350SD & SDL and 1988-91 shorter wheelbase W126 300SE.

I originally didn't like the SDL tradeoff because I first just wondered why Mercedes wanted to put the smaller displacement diesel engine into the long wheelbase S-Class instead of keeping it in the shorter wheelbase S-Class. But it grew on me massively over the decades since. The first 300SDL was the same size CID as the 5cyl. 300 but 6 cylinders & more powerful, even slightly torquier than the 3.0L 6-cylinder gas engine which was higher revving and had more horsepower. With that, there was justification for putting into the long wheelbase S-Class making the SDL.

But I'll still never have QUITE as much love for those S-Class sedans as the 240D w/ stick and 300D Turbo in the W1223. Also, the W123 is cheaper to maintain and/or fix than the W126 S-Class.

The W116 chassis (used for the 300SD Turbo Diesel, 280SE, and the 450 SEL, as well as the 450 SEL 6.9) -- that one is a real beauty too.

Thanks for listing the 190e even if it's #4. My 1st was a 300d. The engine got so bad I would pick up the front and tow it in gear until it started then stop, run back and put it in neutral. Once it was warmed up it started just fine.

Is every w210 reliable or just the e320 version?

The only thing that kills w210 is rust
The engine m112 and 113 and om 606 diesel are reliable The 726 transmission is very good.
