It's ridiculous how polarising EVs are. I think it's because the media always comes down on one side or another with no nuance. List prices of all new cars both combustion and EV are ludicrous but look around and there are huge discounts for some models. I had a Renault Zoe for three years from 2017, bought an SLK in 2020 but my next car will most likely be an EV. Renault 5 looks great in my opinion. The EV3 looks great for what it's designed for but bigger than my needs.

Judging by most of the comments here I don't give much hope for this car. I agree with many comments by saying that £33000 isn't cheap, the range is hopeless like all EV's and the design is ugly. Like so many are saying, I'll stick with my diesel until the government makes it so expensive I'll be forced into buying an EV. Oh the thought 😥

Unfortunately if you can charge from home and use it for the Asda shopping trip, it's perfect, that's if you don't worry about the depreciation. Otherwise your better buying a 5 year old Focus and spending the money you would have pissed up the wall on a cruise.

On the one hand, I respect Kia for actually styling their cars instead of making yet another copy/paste crossover or have a design brief that simply said "As ugly as possible" but on the other hand I'm not entirely sold on the 'Tonka Toy' chunky styling, but at least someone made an effort to give it non-generic styling.
Still think the EV6 is probably one of the best looking EVs of any manufacturer.

The trouble with battery cars switch on the, heater, air con, radio, windscreen wipers, heated seats ans so on, your battery range goes down, not forgetting the depreciation they are in free fall, a 20 year old volvo estate diesel is better value, better range on a full tank, and using all the gadgets does not affect the mpg, apart from air con !
