When the 2025 Kia EV3 hits Aussie showrooms early next year, it won’t just arrive as the Korean brand’s smallest EV—it will also offer the longest driving range of any electric Kia model to date, thanks to the option of a large 81.4kWh battery pack. Although it shares many features with its larger EV6 and EV9 siblings—such as a bold exterior, stunning cabin, and loads of tech—the EV3 is built on the less advanced 400V architecture, resulting in slower recharging. And then there’s the all-important price…

Nice review, but no review complete without you sitting in the back seat and telling us how tall you are so we can judge the rear seat packaging, please! Is this a base or GT model?

Well, hopefully, they have fixed the 12v as all past Kia, including the very expensive EV9, suffer from it even with the so-called updates

Nice but 2026 too late, end of 2024 kia EV 9 launching Hindustan south. People need affordable once, ev 3 awd, ev 5, ev 6 awd already there coupe style less headroom because of design. Ev3, ev5 will be a hit. If they price it right or now there are plenty of EV options good for consumers.

Can we stop glamorising the 'work bench' it's impractical. You have to twist awkwardly to use it. And you now have no hidden storage.

We need to be lambasting this 'feature' not praising it. The senior executive who insisted on this thing against the judgement of anyone around them with more than 2 braincells should be slapped.

Our cars will get ruined, the same as the EV9, with annoying nanny features like driver attention system, so if you look at the infotainment screen or even the speedo, it will bong and flash the screen! Go over the limit by even 1kph more bongs and screen flashing! Sure, you can turn it off, but each and every time you start the car, those systems are back! Hopefully, someone at Kia Australia comes to their senses and makes it turn off permanently! This is a European safety requirement, not an Australian requirement!

Rather push a transit bus than hop in Kia EV3.
