The gap is there for good reason, the car comes with reclining seats, theres afew videos on the internet where one of the seats is reclined and the other isn’t. The seats were not reclined when Doug was walking around the car. Reclining the seats may also help allows a touch more headroom.

Reclining rear seats is a feature that’s easy to forget but a good one to have nonetheless.

There’s something really retro about it, the interior especially, the logo being off centre is a callback to cars from the 80-90s

I quite like this car. Definitely a contender for my next car.

This is such a unique and good looking vehicle...clean lines and not overstyled. Really like the thoughtful touches both inside and out. Can definitely see myself driving one. Keep up the excellent reviews.

I love EV5 that launched in Thailand recently, perfect size around 30 cm. longer than EV3 and look fantastic.

Kia and Hyundais never burn down.
And Korean cars are better made than anything.

Thanks Doug for another considered review. Really like the EV3’s exterior and interior. This could well be a replacement for our ID3, at the end of the year.

There are just so many EV’s coming out in the market that it’s really difficult when to buy. It’s a good looking car too!

Kia also announced that they will be building this car in Mexico to qualify for the US ev tax credits and will be priced at $30k for the base model (not sure if that includes the $7, 500 credit in that price or not) either way a nice thing to see more cost effective cars coming to the North American market instead of getting another $100k+ truck or three row SUV.

This is a beautiful EV
Exterior is OK, acceptable.
Interior looks excellent ; simple-clean-tidy dashboard layout, horizontal display.
And drive shifter on the column frees up center console area from unnecessary clutter.

Can't understand why the guy makes a comparison with the Hyundai Kona EV but not the Kia e-Niro.

Excellent review & car. Disappointed that remains FWD and probably prone to torque steer especially in the wet. Will salivate over a potential GT or “N” spec AWD version in the future. Ioniq 5N is nice but just too big. This is perfectly sized for a hot EV. Only other disappointment is the slowish charge speeds. Other 400v cars now do 150-170kW, (and Tesla 240+ kW with 400v!), so no excuse really but the charge curve is more relevant than charge speed, so let’s see.
