In this Ferro instructional video, we will show you how to replace the mixer - shower diverter valve, taking as example a Veneto Verdeline wall bathtub mixer. In most models of Ferro wall bathtub mixers, all replacement operations are performed in a similar way.
Before proceeding to a replacement operation, turn off the water valve and either secure or cut off the flow.
Prepare appropriate tools:
A 12 or 13 mm Allen key
A flat screwdriver
Start with unscrewing the diverter grip, then remove the hose.
By using a flat screwdriver or tweezers remove carefully the return valve.
Then, by using an Allen key twist off the inferior part of the diverter and remove the part.
Put in the diverter and fit it from under with the key.
Insert the return valve, fit the hose and the grip of the diverter.
Open the water valve.
You may either ask an expert for help, or replace the bathtub-shower diverter valve yourself.
The replacement will allow you to extend the service life of your bath mixer.
