Funny how i just ran across this video. Through Verizon I can upgrade my 2 lines to a Pixel 9 Pro XL for FREE! I thought shoot I've never been offered that kind of deal before. I've always had Motorola phones for the past 20 years lately the edge family and for the most part have loved them. Not a gamer but i do watch alot of YouTube videos etc. However, it seems like after 2-3 years they start to get wonky sometimes and I have to get a new one. I was looking at the Samsung S24 Ultra but when they offered me the Google deal it really got me to thinking I should jump on it. After all its FREE!!

There are some false statements in this video. Google does bring some newere AI features to older phones. Also the 8 series was already using Gemini Ai so the extra 6 gbs aren't solely just cause of AI. I won't go any further. Just ordered the 9 pro xl. Coulde beat the 700 and 200 dollar store credit with 3% cash back i got for my 8 pro. Benchmarks are useless i learned that years ago. I game on the pixel 8 pro and have on previous models. Optimization is the key. Pjones have been scoring higher than previous consoles from 4 to 5 years back. More than capable of gaming and etc ..

I wish Google had given 8Gen3 along with all the back camera as front similar to Asus Zenfone 8 motor mechanism to provide the same level of quality as no other smartphone brand in the market and It could have charged the price same as iPhone. This would be a remarkable change in the history of Smartphone innovation.

I actually had the Samsung Plus with the stylus and it was nothing but problems. The stylus would fall out and eject itself. It always needed to be replaced. You know losing it. So if I got another phone I think it would get one that doesn't have a stylus. It's not as convenient as I thought it would be

In my country price for Pixel P Pro 512GB (with 100 euro discount ) = S24 Ultra 512GB. Keeping in mind the crappy tensor g4 processor of the pixel 9, compared to the snapdragon, I think the choice is easy.

PS i think i might be making the switch from s21 ultra to the pixel pro or pro XL haven't made my mind up yet nut the deals are in favor of the pixel for sure and size does matter to me, the ultra is a decent suze brick so affordability and size is really having me jump back into a google phone. Cant believe im saying that but it finally looks and feels enticing enough for me
