Pixel 9 Pro One Week Later - Is it Worth it??

This is a review of the new Google Pixel 9 Pro. In this review, I go over my experience with the Pixel 9 Pro one week later, and talk about whether or not the Pixel 9 Pro is worth it.

Please note that the Pixel 9 Pro being reviewed in this video was purchased at Best Buy at normal retail price. Some footage in the video was taken at the Google Pixel 9 event in which I was invited to by Google.

I was going to try the pixel 9 pro, but 1k is just too expensive considering it's 128gb and without the 4.0 storage speeds. Their trade in deals for Samsung phones weren't good either. 320 for my s23 and 400 for my s24. The 9 pro should be in the 799 range.

Obviously, this is just the best Pixel phone yet... but can the outdated chipset handle seven years of updates? AI isn't everything; furthermore, it still has even half-baked AI features... 😅

The Pixel 8 Pro is the main competitor, and it’s available for a new, unopened unit on eBay for as low as £500. That’s significantly lower than the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which costs £1100. Android 15 has dramatically improved the battery life and thermals on my Pixel 8 Pro, so I can easily get 8 hours of screen time in just two days of use. Therefore, I don’t see the need to pay extra for the Pixel 9 Pro XL, as the Pixel 8 Pro offers very similar features, and AI is already coming to the Pixel 8 Pro. I would say the Pixel 8 Pro is a bit of a bargain, and I would buy this as it will still get seven years of updates, the same as the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

I hear the tech reviewers say they have used the smartphone for a said amount of time, but their SIM isn't even in that phone! Why even bother then??? We all know you use iPhone on a daily basis. Just cut the bullcrap!

The only question that matters is" Are you totally confident with the fact of keeping those Pixel 9 Pro with good performance during 4 years ?".

A large amount of people don't buy a 1000$ smartphone just for one year.
Owning a iPhone 13 Pro and NP1 with SD778G+, with no intention to change, before 2 years at least, that's what i want to know.

I had the XL for less than a week. it doesnt look and feel premium honestly. the software is hands down really perfection. i am just underwhelmed by the battery and the hardware.
