MicroNugget: What are the New Check Point R77 Features?

Показать описание
In this video, Keith Barker covers the new features available in Check Point’s R77 software release. Some of the most significant additions include Threat Emulation Service, Compliance Blade, Centralized Gaia Management, Improved License and Update support, and Identity Awareness. You can also use RADIUS as a source for identities.
Check Point’s R77 release has a slew of exciting features. The first is Threat Emulation Service, which is a security feature that goes beyond a traditional firewall and can protect a company against zero-day attacks. It instantly blocks malware in email attachments and downloads.
The Compliance Blade helps identify potential security breaches and vulnerabilities, as well as provide practical guidelines for any policy changes you implement. It serves as a final sanity check: if, for example, a sysadmin tries to implement a policy that is too lenient, the Compliance Blade will give a final pause to make sure that this is something you really want to do.
These are only a couple of the features that make this release so exciting, and Keith covers quite a few more in the video.
