Moving to the bench is absolutely a great decision for westbrook, especially as someone who relies so much on his speed at his age less wear and tear will extend his career for a few more years easily.

We go through this with a lot of stars. They aren’t the players they once were, then have a hard time adjusting. Then they struggle for a couple years until they learn how to be a role player. Then they either fall off or enter a sort of second prime and figure it out. One example recently is Melo. Klay is going through the transition right now for another example.
