I am a Shia. I follow al sahih Hadith that sunnis claim is only for them, I love and respect Umar and Abu Bakr RA, and every sahaba beside Muawiya ibn Abi Sufiyan. I don’t curse any of the wives of the Prophet SAW including Aisha RA and Hafsa RA, nor do I believe that Abu Bakr and Umar RA killed Fatima AS or wronged her and her family in anyway. I however do not believe that Yazid LA was a good person whatsoever, and condemn him for killing the imam AS. Am I still a Kafir, and by the way I’m Iranian and most of the ppl there are like me. Especially Ayatollah Khamenei whom I learned this all from.

Such a stupid explanation by Sheikh about the Shia. He called them non Muslims indirectly. I agree Shia have deviated a lot from the Quran and Sunnah but so have the Sunnis, even the sect of this sheikh which is Wahabism. They have hatred against the Ahle Beit and they reject Ahadis even written in Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. So be careful before calling others non Muslims who believe in the same God and Prophet and books and all the other things. He should be ashamed. These Wahabis are not following Quran and Sunnah themselves, they are blindly following their sect's scholars and sheikhs and they will do anything to defend their sect. So Wahabis are no better than Shias. All sects are wrong. Just be Muslim and follow Quran and Sunnah. That's it. Read it yourself.

If the prophet (pbuh) was alive today, he would not recognize the Muslims, regardless of Shia or Sunni. His own prediction was there will be 73 sects. "The Jews are divided into 71 sects (firqa), the Christians into 72 sects, and my community will divide into 73 sects (Ibn Majah, Abu Daud, al-Tirmidhi and al-Nisa'i)". I'm shia. I don't take hadith unless it is strong and mutawatir. Second, Sahaba in Quran arent mentioned by name. And there are verses condemning particular companions. Shia commemorate certain sahaba vs other schools. Lastly, Quran talks about intercession. I believe shaheed, with Allah's swt permission, can intercede.
