If anyone has gone to a mosque and heard Shias lecture and speak they never curse the companions. I’ve attended hundreds and not one word was mentioned that was slandering any of the companions or even the wife of the prophet.

I dont know why these shias curse them.. Lets say for example, they curse Aisha RA because she started the war against Ali RA (according to them).. Even if she started the war which she definitely not, who are you to curse her?? Who you all are to judge her? Leave it to Allah SWT if she is wrong.. My God she is a wife of beloved Muhammed PBUH
In the Quran, its written to respect every companion of Prophet Muhammed PBUH but shias go against Allah🤷🏻‍♂️

I am not generalizing, but something annoying and repetitive that I find in some Sunni scholars is that they give themselves full authority over Islam like they’re the prophet pbuh and just kick whoever disagrees with them out of Islam. The sahaba were not mentioned in Qur’an like the Sheikh said, so it is not something “Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala ordained”, all of this is interpreted from the Sunnah, and all of the hadiths and traits that the sheikh mentioned such as A’ishah being the prophet’s “beloved” are from Sunni sources such as Bukhari and Muslim, which we do not accept as reliable sources due to a lot of conflicting Hadiths and contradictions, and in these books the prophet was described to have tried to commit suicide wal’iyathu billah, and in these same sources we find a lot of degradation to Abu Bakir and Umar such as Abu Bakir wishing before he died that he didn’t invade fatimah’s house, and Umar telling the prophet on his deathbed that he is going senile wal’iyathu billah, and therefore we have a negative point of view on such characters. However, we never (mainstream Shi’a not the outlier communities) curse them out of respect to our Sunni brothers and to not divide the Ummah. However, you guys also give yourselves the right in takfeer of the prophet’s father, mother, uncle, and grandfather, and they are highly praised people in Shi’a school of thought, but did we say Sunnis are not Muslims like you guys do to us all the time? No, we still believe you are our Muslim brothers with different reading on historical incidents.

What happened on the day of Ghadir e Khum?


Ghadir Khumm is a location some miles from Makkah on the road to Madinah. When the Prophet (s) was passing by this place on 18 Dhu’l Hijja (10 March 632) on his return from the Farewell Pilgrimage, the verse “O Messenger, Proclaim what has been sent down...” was revealed. He therefore stopped to make an announcement to the pilgrims who accompanied him from Makkah and who were to disperse from that junction to their respective destinations. By the orders of the Prophet (s) a special pulpit made of branches of trees was erected for him. After the noon prayer the Prophet (s) sat on the pulpit and made his last public address to the largest gathering before his death three months later.

The highlight of his sermon was when, taking Imam ‘Ali (a) by the hand, the Prophet (s) asked his followers whether he was superior in authority (awla) to the believers themselves. The crowd cried out in one voice: “It is so, O Apostle of Allah”. He then declared: “He of whom I am the master (mawla), of him ‘Ali is also the master (mawla). O God, be the friend of him who is his friend, and be the enemy of him who is his enemy.”

Immediately after the Prophet (s) finished his speech, the following verse of the Qur’an was revealed:

Today I have perfected your religion and completed my favor upon you, and I was satisfied that Islam be your religion. (Holy Qur’an 5:3)

After his speech, the Prophet (s) asked everybody to give the oath of allegiance to ‘Ali (a) and congratulate him. Among those who did so was ‘Umar bin al-Khattab, who said: “Well done Ibn Abi Talib! Today you became the master of all believing men and women.”

An Arab, having heard of the event of Ghadir Khumm, came up to the Prophet (s) and said: “You commanded us to testify that there is no deity but Allah and that you are the Messenger of Allah. We obeyed you. You ordered us to perform the prayers five times a day and we obeyed. You ordered us to observe fasts during the month of Ramadhan and we obeyed. Then you commanded us to offer pilgrimage to Makkah and we obeyed. But you are not satisfied with all this and you raised your cousin by your hand and imposed him upon us as our master by saying ‘Ali is the mawla of whom I am mawla.’ Is this imposition from Allah or from you?” The Prophet (s) said : “By Allah who is the only deity! This is from Allah, the Mighty and the Glorious.”

On hearing this reply the man turned back and proceeded towards his she-camel saying: “O Allah! If what Muhammad said is correct then fling on us a stone from the sky and subject us to severe pain and torture.” He had not reached his she-camel when Allah flung at him a stone which struck him on his head, penetrated his body and left him dead. It was on this occasion that Allah, the exalted, caused to descend the following verses:

A questioner questioned about the punishment to fall. For the disbelievers there is nothing to avert it, from Allah the Lord of the Ascent. (Holy Qur’an 70:1-3)

Anybody who usurps the right of a Muslim cannot be a righteous companion of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) which the "sahaba" did at Saqifa. A divine position like that of the Holy Prophet's can only be succeeded by a divine appointment, not the people's votes as then he is a leader of the people and would work to please them and not Allah, making him just a worldly ruler.

Ibne Qutaybah writes: When Abu Bakr had taken the Caliphate, Ali (a.s) was dragged to Abu Bakr as he repeatedly declared, 'I am the slave of Allah and the brother of the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w.a.). Then Ali(a.s.) was commanded to take the oath of allegiance to Abu Bakr.' Ali(a.s) said:

I have more right to the Caliphate than anyone of you. I will not pledge obedience to you. As a matter of fact, you should give the pledge of obedience to me. You called the Ansar to give their bayah on the ground that you had blood relations with the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w.a.). You are usurping the Caliphate from us, the members of his (s.a.w.a.) house. Did you not reason with the Ansar that you have greater rights to the Caliphate than they because the Apostle (s.a.w.a.) was of your kinship, and they handed over the government to you and accepted your leadership (based on this reasoning)? Therefore, the very reason put forth by you before the Ansar is now forwarded by me. Our relations with the Apostle in life as well as in death are much closer than those of anyone of you. if you are faithful to your argument, you should do justice; otherwise you know that you have knowingly moved towards tyranny.

Shias are not disrespectful towards anyone. We just examine historical events with logic. Conflict happened and it doesn’t make sense to say that good fought with good and good killed good…conflict happened…lives were lost…one of the sides is responsible for the bloodshed…therefore it doesn’t make sense to say both sides are good and right… why on earth would they fight then? We have every right to look at history and criticize actions and people and ideas. I hope our right to have our own reading of history is respected.

How could you call yourself an Alam e deen when you have such misconceptions? When we say Ya Ali A.S Madad, we don't mean that Ali A.S (maaz Allah, Astaghfirullah) is equal to Allah Almighty and instead of calling upon Allah Almighty, we are calling Ali Ibn e Abi Talin A.S for help instead. We just simply beilief that Allah Almighty has sent towards us the Prophet P.B.U.H and Bis progeny so that we can take guidance from them and ask Allah Almighty for help by the Waseela of the Prophet P.B.U.H and His progeny. Just like how when you have to submit an application to the dean of university, you'd first go to the head of your department, then the vice principle and then the principle himself. If you want a favour from someone, and you're doubtful that whether only you asking for it would be enough or not, don't you go to a loved one of that person and ask them for help so that you get the favour? Allah Almighty made this whole world for the Prophet P.B.U.H and His family. It is clearly mentioned in the Quran that Allah Almighty and His angels sent Darood to the Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H and Alay Muhamad P.B.U.H ( His progeny) so the believers should do the same. We understand that Alllah Almighty loves the Prophet P.B.U.H and His progeny dearly so we ask for Allah's help by the source of Ali A.S. The Prophet P.B.U.H asked for Imam Ali A.S, His brother's help to defeat marhab, so no, saying Ya Ali A.S madad DOES NOT make us non-muslims or kafirs. And no we do not curse the Sahabas. We just say that whoever broughg pain to the Prophet P.B.U.H and His beloved daugher and family, should be reprimanded and called out. That's it.

I'm a Hazara person from Afghanistan. I grew up as a shia. A few years ago Allah helped me open my eyes. I grew up learning many sinful things, Mey Allah forgive me. Iranian imams are putting kufir in shia's believe for hundreds of years. Nowruz, charshombey sory are perfect example, all from persian pagan. shia also mixed up believe with christians like 'panj thani pak' Ali is their mediator like jesus for christians. For example, shia believes that in kabar, those angel will ask you, who's your friend? and you suppose to say 'Ali is my friend'. If you say otherwise then you'll be in big trouble, no matter what.

I grew up learning that, for my prayer to be accepted, I have to believe and give swear/byhah to a alive imam from Iran, and this call 'thakleed' it's believing in a mujthahid/imam to mediator to other 12 shia imams like Jafir Sathiq, Zainul Abadeen.

Lahuli walah quwathe ALALLAH bil Allah.
