Just turn off screen lock, pin code and screen timeout on Ipad... Keep screen on. Update through ITunes and then turn them on again.
BTW.. My comments keep getting deleted by them for some reason.

Why don't you say in the video that once firmware is downloaded you then charge membership to get a registration code before I can 'start standard repair' Just be honest. I'll find another solution,
