Great tip. I did not have to use someone’s else account. Since I had my existing account for my iPhone with the apps I needed to download on the old iPad, I just had to download from the purchase option.

🙌🏽 YES!!! It worked on my 1st generation iPad mini...for a year or 2 my 1st gen iPad has been unusable after the iOS 9 update...thanks to this video I have Netflix, Tubi, other movie apps again and all my games like hay day, candy crush and Homescapes are back too! Thanks 🙌🏽😁(1/10/2020)

This is so helpful. My partner pasted away a few years ago and everything on it was out of date and it was full. I factory reset it and couldnt get any apps to work. I don't have any newer apple products but my mother does. 😃
