0:00 Get Forms Responses into Power Automate
When we want to get responses from Microsoft Forms, we need to export them manually. With Power Automate, we can automatically get the Form's responses and save them to an Excel sheet.

3:53 Save Forms Responses to Excel
It's straightforward to save Forms responses directly into Excel. The requirement is that the Excel book needs to be in either OneDrive, SharePoint, or Dropbox. It also needs to be formatted as a table.

9:19 Send an email based on Forms response
We can send ourselves emails based on Forms responses. Either for every response or based on a condition. Then, we convert the response into an integer to compare it in our condition.

First video that really helps me.
The only thing I need is to be able to send the excel as an attachment each time a change is made

Thank you for the video, very helpful and instructive! I do have a question though. I'm able to use Power Automate so the responses are sent to a shared inbox, only if I'm the sole owner of the form I created. However if I create a group form (linked to a shared Sharepoint site) once I get into Power Automate I don't get the option to link the group form I created. Do you know how I can remediate to that? The organization I work for has 28 000 employees and several employees move around a lot, so we try not to be sole owners of the work tools and documents we create. Thanks!

Just what I needed, thank you for sharing this. I thinking about creating a report which the contents are from Forms and then attach that report and email it directly to the respondents.

Great video! It's exactly what I needed.
I have one question: How can I incorporate the URL of the submitted Microsoft form into the live spreadsheet so we can edit the form when necessary?

Hi Anders,
I am working on a project where I have to create a form to gather employee's IT device information. Than, the form answers should navigate to the program Manager for approval and the approvals should be save into an excel sheet which will be operated by IT manager. Please guide me.

Hello :)
Thank you for this video.
I would like to know how to make the power automate flow process the responses to the form one by one please.

Indeed, I have a power automate flow that does exactly the same thing as yours, except that in my Excel file, there are graphs which are built according to certain answers and based on a single line of writing.
So I have to have a single line in my Excel file every time.
So I added a step to copy the Excel file by adding the ID at the end and then delete the line written in the original file. This copy is then turned into a PDF and sent to the respondent.
But the problem is that, as soon as I have two or more answers at the same time, I have several lines that are written in my Excel file and my graphs come out of errors.
Note that for each step, I use a loop.

Thank you for your feedback.

This was so helpful but I'm running into a unique situation - My form has questions with multiple possible answers, and when multiple answers are selected for a single question, the excel populates the answers in a string separated by " / and ]. Am I able to format how the form responses are imported into excel? Of course, all of the data is there but I would like to make it 'easy on the eyes' for the end user. Thank you in advance!!
