I'm trying to do this - and have done it before - but now when I try to create a new Form in Sharepoint using the new Form for Excel option, after naming it, instead of opening up a new Form, it opens an Excel workbook. I'm not seeing any way to access the Form. Anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks! Yeah I tried getting this type of behavior back in the Office 2000 days and then they created the Forms app which didn't work either. Only took 30 years to make it work and be simple. Thanks Again.

Thanks for this. Can you please tell me if it possible to copy existing forms into this format? I have just built a number with complicated branching that I am reluctant to recreate but that I had planned to power automate into another format for the purposes of storage and partial extraction. I would like to avoid yet more flows if at all possible.

There is no such funtion when click "New" from shapreoint document library.

Great thing, but what about access permissions to the file?
In some cases, users should not be able to see the entries of other users.
Or asked differently, with which account is written into the file when a form is submitted?
The file was created by "ShaerPoint App", as you can see in the video.

If I’m in the survey excel spreadsheet, and someone submits a response, would I need to go into the data tab and click refresh all for it to feed through?
