Good job on explaining about the OXIGEN levels! Thank you, Guy!

My doctor said keep it at 92 and above, anything below 88 means you have no reserves left. When mine drops in the mid 80's, I'm struggling.

Thanks Guy, really happy with your short to the point and informative presentation. Web Med couldn't give me a chart with info I could use...

I have copd which started developing at the end of 2014, at which time I started putting on a lot of weight which is near impossible to lose. My oxygen level is 93, which I know isn’t normal but I also know the reason for it. People asking if theirs is normal when it’s above 95, should try watching the video.

Hi Frank, thanks for the video. can you use the pulse oximeter doing a 6 min walk test and if so how would you go about it, regular readings or one at the beginning and one at the end?

I've never heard of anyone with cpod LOL. Would be good since you're the oxygen guy to go into a little bit of background and what spo2 actually monitors.

People ALL need to know is many factors involved in reading your oxygen level. No matter what respiratory ailment you have, everyones will vary.

I actually shuddered everytime you said "CPOD". (Yes, CPOD instead of COPD !)

I’m 15 with asthma and was tested positive with Covid yesterday. My oxygen levels showed 100 before I went to bed but now that I woke up it’s at 95. I don’t know if I should be worried or not?

My mom has COPD for twelve years, is 78 and only just quit smoking 6 months ago after smoking since she was 17 years old, 1 to 2 packs per day, and her blood oxygen is always above 95 or 96, yet she gets very easily winded and fatigued with much exertion, like carrying a laundry basket or walking too quickly. She is not on oxygen. She is below normal weight, not heavy. I just don't understand how her blood oxygen could be so good.
