Why Socialism makes Government Corruption worse.

Breadtube likes to blame Capitalism for Government Corruption and then propose Socialism as the solution. The facts show exactly the opposite to be true. It is also part of a common 3 part grift that Socialists pull:

1. Identify problem.
2. Blame Capitalism.
3. Promote Socialism.

This is always a grift, and always comes with either a lack of evidence, highly skewed "facts", or just flat out poor rationality. To show this, I bring you the 7th episode of my refuting Breadtube series focused on Second Thought, who puts out this type of argument on a regular basis. Why he is wrong on this also shows why the only viable solution to a corrupt State is to take power away from the State.

Hello! Chilean here!

The vote for a new constitution was overwhelmingly approved, followed by a 90% vs 10% voting split between left leaning and right leaning members chosen to write it.

With this gigantic majority, the chilean solcialist and communist party got a bit... greedy.
You see, this all started because of a long and big manifestation about economic discontent. In a few words, Chile had one of the greatest wealth growths of a country in almost the history of mankind. In 30 years, we went from 40-50% to only 10% poberty (while also having greatly raised the standard "poberty line" from back then. If we used the old one, we have like 1% poberty...). But some people got a bit salty that while nobody was starving now, some people were eating caviar and driving expensive cars. Jealousy, basically.

So yeah, with that hate filled mindset, they wanted to rewrite the constitution. Now this is where the extreme left dropped the ball. You see, they got "on" the tail of the bandwagon of economic discontent. But failed to recognize that more than 50% of the chilean economy are a bunch of family or small business owners. So when they wrote a full no-stop socialist constitution, with clauses that permitted the creation of communism, it was voted out by 60% of the people on the "exit" referendum.

Of course, we already voted to HAVE a new constitution, so people had to vote for the NEW elected writers that are going to try and write the constitution. But this time, people were a bit annoyed with how their entire movement was hijacked by socialists.. so they (get this) *voted for 90% right wing constitution writers*

Yes, the politics of my country are a joke.
Leave it to the socialists to push a new constitution cause it was "too right leaning", only for a referendum being passed to make it even MORE right leaning. Hilarious

Update cause some people asked for it:
The new constitution writers, that are mostly right wing, but more importantly, "moderates", have written a Europe-like constitution. However, the country is still pretty polarized, so the extreme left AND the extreme right, are voting against it, while those closer to the center are voting in favor of it. This can be explained with horseshoe theory, for you see, the proposed constitution isn't "authoritarian enough", because it takes a lot of power from the government, and fragments it, instead of concentrating it. I can now confirm, that my country's politics are an even bigger joke than I expected. I can't wait to hear the punchline!

Final Update:
The new "right-wing" constitution was rejected as well. though not by much.
So in short, we still have the old constitution, but with a twist!!!
You see, during this whole ordeal, those that wanted to keep the old constitution cause making a new one was too risky, lowered the votes required to change parts of the constitution from 2/3, to 3/5.
So now we are on the process of slowly but surely updating our old consitution... which was what we were doing BEFORE the massive riots started. Brilliant. We just wasted 2 years on a problem I have no doubts will resurface again after a couple of years...

This is a little off topic, but what I find interesting about Marxist Socialist BreadTubers is that they will often display the Scandinavian countries (Norway, Finland, Sweden, Iceland and Denmark) as good examples of Socialism working correctly. However, the problem is that not only do these countries actually operate via mixed-market economies and not by planned economies, but also, they utilise an economic model known as Tripartism (form of Neo-Corporatism) which relies heavily on class cooperation between the worker unions, employer associations and the State in order to come to an agreement between different interests. Whilst it is understandable for them to look up to these particular countries, due to them being some of the most equal countries in the world, doesn’t the class cooperation of the Scandinavian model completely contradict the belief of class struggle in the Marxian sense?

The funniest part is that the only monopoly to arise without state backing, Standard Oil, had none of the negatives that are typical of monopolies because Rockerfeller knew that if he put them into place rail companies would just open their own oil companies to compete with him.

Any government official found to be accepting bribes or insider trading ought to be barred from holding any office and sentenced to a minimum 10 years in prison without parole, as well as having all of their earnings seized and given back to the people in the form of some sort of "apology tax return".

People will blame capitalism for things like oil extraction and corruption, and then completely ignore the fact that not a single socialist nation was ever environmentalist or free of corruption, unto the point some of the world's worst environmental disasters occurred in socialist Nations.

I remember Socialists coming into the local environmentalism groups (and they have legitimite issues against the local nuclear waste facilities (plural), because those are run like leaking septic tanks for which the duct tape is considered too expensive — so it is a corruption problem that turned into an environmental problem that understandably makes people rather aversive of anything to do with the nuclear industry complex at large), and trying to make everything about "redistribution." How that solves the health hazards? No clue. I can bring up half a dozen more such instances about completely different things that Socialist activists always tried to hijack and their proposed solution that everyone should abide by was "redistribution" (Umverteilung). Like, okay, if we can redistribute the leaking highly radioactive trash to the politicians' homes and dump it into parliament, I'm totes fine with that, but that's not what they mean when they say "redistribution."

Many movements with legitimate interests that do not have as pressing and everlasting issues on their literal homes' doorsteps, simply die off after the Socialist Craptivists get into them, for they are so obnoxious, spiteful, irrational and power hungry, bullying themselves into the leading position and sniping off those who don't blindly go along with them as much as they can... that noone's left eventually. The Left DESTROYS any meaningful single-issue movements that are against corruption of government or industry, etc, by wanting to control them all. Some of the zombies survive and end up just another mouthpiece of the same propaganda they repeat ad nauseam everywhere else, while not dealing with the actual issue the respective group was founded against anymore at all (that would also potentially lead to solving the problem and thus that group not being needed anymore, and thus losing a zombie-mouthpiece).

Socialists are a political parasite and nothing else.

Lol I remember the first time encountering one of the videos from this channel via the algorithm. I remember it being a well laid out video until the very last two minutes when he blew his load and started telling everyone to vote for socialist policies to “fix the problem”. The videos take a harsh 180 degree turn and go from relatively unbiased dissection of an issue for 90% of the video to absurdly biased logical fallacies in last 10%.
I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a right wing video that has done this kind of subversive jumpscare tactic. But it seems to be way more common in the left wing nowadays because they think this is how you convince people to join their dumb ideology. Pretty much cult recruitment tactics.
