Welcome to the Happy Hormones workout series ✨

This is the first of 5 that I’ll be posting!

This is for all my ladies out there feeling those midlife changes and wanting to do something about it 👏🏼

I will be launching the full program in the next couple months, but I wanted to get you all excited and ready for what’s coming! So get ready for some bite sized workouts.

For the past 8+ months I’ve been working out in a new way that has helped balance my hormones, improve insulin resistance, lower body fat and change my overall body composition. I’m still a work in progress, but I’m feeling GREAT and loving the results so far 🙏🏼

This new workout program, combined with lifestyle and nutritional tweaks has left me feeling better than I have in YEARS.

This particular workout I’m showing you here is lower body focused and combines traditional weight training with Pilates Fusion elements for the perfect balance of Strength & Sculpt 🔥

As we age we really need the best of both worlds when it comes to strength training AND Pilates! Which is why I’ve been working out in such a way.

Plus we’re busy ladies who don’t have time or energy for 15 different workouts a week 🤪

This is just a sample from the full workout. We focus on progressive overload with weights, Bodyweight only exercises, and of course Pilates fusion exercises!

All workouts will be follow along in the actual program, but here’s the breakdown of today’s sample workout:

- hip thrusts 12x3
- weighted Bulgarian split squat 12x2 (two times each side)
- body weight only forward lean Bulgarian split squat 12x2 (two times each side)
- weighted lunge combo 12x2 (two times each side)
- weighted step out curtsy lunge 12x2 (two times each side)
- side lying Pilates lower body 12 of each movement. Each side with short rests between exercises.
-forward/back, bend/press, circles
- bridge work
- single leg, lower/lift
