This was so timely. I was just a few moments ago the closest I’ve ever been to committing suicide as I was deprived of attention, validation and love by my loved ones. But God prompted me to listen to this message. Thank you Father for choosing me even though I depended on the love and validation of others. I am not sure whether I’ve overcome the temptation of suicide, but now I’m confident that God still sees me, chooses me and loves me as He just saved me from making the worst decision of my life. I am not where I want to be, but I’m certainly not where I was anymore. Im living to fight for another day. Whoever is reading this, I pray that you will persevere every valley and battle thrown at you physically, mentally and spiritually and I pray that you will be conquerers of your chains in perseverance. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Man 3 months I have felt an lived like this. Walked away from it turned my head shut my ears, an tried to do it on my own. I never stop to celebrate because I am fearful of something going wrong as soon as something good comes to pass. In my past that seems to be how it happend. I also set my mind on a goal and never stop to enjoy the process so focused on the end result only! Father I pray that I can get better in both of these areas!! In Jesus name Amen!!!!

Guys, the heartbreaking thing is that you only notice that you’re after someone’s validation when you’re either out of the relationship or tired of trying to impress them 🙈 like I once tried to impress this guy with my academic achievement and he didn’t congratulate me. When that happened I got so frustrated 🙈 after the relationship ended, I noticed that I was chasing after things that only God could give. I wish I fully knew how to depend on getting that validation from God, but I know now that I’m not going to look for it in people.
