There is a big difference between what you learn in business school, and what you need to know in the real world – just ask any startup founder or business owner! My goal is to focus on the real-world aspects of business, giving practical tips and tricks that are not usually covered in school.

This channel is a platform to help entrepreneurs and business owners succeed. It is also to help the world at large to be more effective and successful. The world can certainly use more inspiring leaders, more successful entrepreneurs, and more capable managers - that is what I would like to help bring about.

Who Am I?
I am a practicing management consultant, former CEO, and entrepreneur. I have led many businesses to success, as well as several startups. Among other things, I have an engineering degree, an MBA, a master's degree in finance, and a master black belt in lean six sigma.

I have worked across five industries, and have worked in both large enterprise and small businesses. In the last five years, I have also been mentoring startup founders and teaching business at a post-graduate level.

Why I Want To Involve My Community:
The only way this channel will succeed is with YOUR help. In order to know how best to proceed, I need constant feedback from YOU. What topics should I cover? What challenges are you facing? What questions do you have? What changes should I make?

Please contact me with questions, and I will try my best to help. Best of luck!

Thank you for being here and reading this, and have yourself an amazing day!

Man you’re good. I’ve been asked these questions and just fumbled around trying to answer them. This the most worthwhile channel on YouTube.

Just think - everyone who answered that question in 2015 - EVERYONE - was wrong.

I once answered this question with "Asking that very same question to the person I will be interviewing"
I got the job.

Been out of the job market for a long time and looking to move from a “job” to a “career” and this series has helped tremendously with my ability to field some of those trickier questions that get asked. “Tell me about yourself” and “where do you see yourself…” are some of the most terrifying and this guy NAILS it.

Just wanted to say thank you. I have watched all these videos, and they have helped tremendously. As a 'veteran' in my field, I thought I knew the best way to handle interviews, but turns out I don't. I approached things the incorrect way. I since adjusted my interview strategy and have now advanced into the final rounds at a potential company! Thanks again!

Yes. Finally! Someone acknowledged that job interviews can feel like interrogations.
In my experience here in my country, interviewers look at me funny when I ask them questions back even before the customary “ do you have any questions?” And it makes for awkward moments in some cases. 😂

Last time I got this question, I answered that I wanted to keep learning, pursue evening classes to prepare for (higher diploma, certification) in the field that the recruiter was currently recruiting me for. Even if 5 years is not the exact time frame for that in most cases, it worked well for the interview, got the job.

I had a job interview that was exactly like this; an interrogation. One of the interviewers, the Security Manager for an Aerospace/Manufacturing company, was a retired police Detective. I felt like I was going to be arrested and put in jail after that interview for not confessing to a crime I did not commit. All of the questions were part of a script they used on every candidate to compare scores. I failed the interview miserably because I wasn't prepared for some of the questions. It was a great learning experience, even though I did not get the job.

Always finish your answer with a question. I think this is the most important concept. This gives you control over the situation. Otherwise you are a sheep ready to be slaughtered by the interviewer.

Nowadays, I no longer worry about the future. Things don't turn out the way you think they will anyway.
In my opinion, worrying about it is a waste of time.
