Geek Squad returned my "repaired" laptop to me. I opened it at home to find BitLocker recovery screen. WTF. I chat online with them they say I'll have to bring it back. OH BUT I DON"T!!! This didn’t work for me but thank you. If anyone had it enabled already and couldn’t get around it, check out the video by chris.
What worked for me was going to support.Microsoft on my phone > logging in > finding my device > (the recovery key should be here) and inputing the key on my computer where it’s asking for it

So if anyone is having trouble with passing the bitlocker part without the key like I did. Log into the Microsoft account associated with your laptop > go to devices > click more details under the device > and there should be a bitlocker key there.

Just FYI - this doesn't work with Dell computers. The secure boot option was already on and my one still required a recovery key.
