You know you're an introvert when you clean your room... then choose to stay in it.

Being an Introvert at church is the pits lol. They mean well but everyone sees me sitting alone and it's like a beacon. "Wow, this poor soul must be too shy to initiate interaction, I better go and impose myself, stat!".

I am definitely an extrovert, but I'm learning to be okay with being alone. It's hard, but necessary.

Probably because introverts are generally more interested in scholarly subjects such as this.

Sucks that society champions extroverts and looks down upon introverts.

I'm an extreme introvert and somehow married an extreme extrovert. I'm happy to spend weeks at a time without talking to anyone else and she starts going insane after being in the house for an hour. It's been hard but we have been working together to compromise and in doing so she's helped me grow to where it's not so exhausting talking to people and hanging out with friends (it would drain me to the point of breakdowns just being in a group for two hours before) and she's learned how to take life slower and enjoy the quiet moments with me :)

Somewhere in the middle, but would rather the introvert side. I'm fine being amongst a big group of people, as long as I'm doing something meaningful and actually want to be there, because I get bored so quickly. I don't want to be out amongst loads of people and then feel like I'd rather be somewhere else, that's completely pointless. I'm well aware of how there's a lot of people nowadays who are the polar opposite and crave being around other people. They find it uncomfortable being alone LOL 😅
I find solitude soothing AF.

Why is there never any videos talking about people in the middle more in depth or on the same depth level as what is talked about introverts/extroverts? Even Jung in personality types alluded to the fact that it's more common to be in between than getting energy majority from one source, being alone or socializing. This is written I believe (not in my words precisely) in Jungs Personality types

even the thought of spending time with a group of people while watching this gave me a headache. Introvert all the way

What about me who is extroverted but not the friendliest, because of the high disagreeableness. I am not sit in the corner type of person and I am good with sales and people jobs. Tell me to sit alone and do paperwork is like taking the life out of me. But I am just not your friendly social butterfly. I'm a person who likes to pick fights not to be bored.

I would pay money to see Jordan do an interview with John Force on his podcast.

So if two introverts get married, who cleans the room?

What about ambiverts? That's where I fall.

And, what about people that walk both paths.
For exemple, i have months/weeks that i act as the exteriotipical Introvert.
I only recover while been alone and stuff.
BUT!
There are also some times, that i can't stand been alone, and that i will only recover myself, getting into social moments and stuff.
Could Introvert and Extrovert be more of a flexible trait for some people, that adapt to the momento of life of this person?

It depends on who your around whether you enjoy conversing or not, its shades of grey. I love to be around eccentric or lively people with gsoh, than boring, stupid or negative people. Its good to be alone too, so you can do your hobbies. I am a mixture tbh.

I want him to speak on MBTI more fully.

I'm physically not the typical extrovert, even tho I'm energetic I still need time alone physically, But I'm psychologically wanting to be around people at the point of exhaustion, once I've even go to a seminary militar to meet a whole bunch of new people and enjoy myself and by the end of the month after non stop interaction I needed two days break of it
I'll be most likely an extrovert by how I interact and how much I desire being around people, and yet I feel like having introvert needs, am I just overpushing it ?
Yet when I was little (mostly 4-10 yrs) I spend time by myself quite easily, I could be alone for like two to three days and liking it, after that I needed to see people to feel alive because solitude was also exhaustive
I've been encountering quite a lot of down and high time, switching from the depressed one to the clown of the school, and I'm sure I was not faking being extrovert or introvert, I was sometimes just forgetting my own rest needs or how much I needed people
Right now I'm pretty doubtful about my own needs, I'm neither the typical extrovert or introvert, so guess I'm somewhere in the middle and yet I can't tell when I feel better around people or alone. That's frustrating.
I've heard about MBTI first before knowing you and your work, I admire it and I actually think now that MBTI is kind of bullshit by employing dichotomies. HOWEVER. I found that cognitive functions are very interesting and could be somehow valid, what's your thoughts about it ?

I hate to detract but I have no trouble talking in front of a large audience, love to interact with people in social events and feel absolutely comfortable being by myself for long periods of time. So which personality trait am I?

Mans both I love enjoying and going out and socialising but at the same time man just loves being alone so I’ll say I’m an Ambivert
