As someone who is 36 weeks pregnant, I love this video! But I do want to mention that exercise may not prevent GD in all people. I was doing HIIT workouts (25-30 minutes) and ran 5ks throughout all of my pregnancy (while eating mostly healthy—I was very fortunate to have no nausea in my first trimester) 6 times per week and still got mild gestational diabetes that has been diet controlled. I have one friend who was a yoga instructor that got it! I just want to comment because the assumption that pregnant people with gestational diabetes aren’t exercising enough, and you can avoid GD through a healthy lifestyle is not necessarily true for everyone. But keeping up a healthy lifestyle can help!

Hate the idea of having to do physical exercise every time I eat! Especially while living in the UK as the wet weather can be a huge deterrent. But the variety of workouts you've put out and your encouraging and positive attitude must be applauded. Thank you so much for making GD more managable!

I’m 29 weeks and 6 days today with gestational diabetes and I’m currently taking medication.. It’s current 1:54am I didn’t finish because my body feels weak but I’m definitely trying tomorrow one day at a time! I’m determined to do this for the rest of my 11 weeks

Along the lines of another comment posted here. Contrary to what the title says Gestational diabetes does NOT come from leading a bad lifestyle but from the hormones produced by the placenta... I'm healthy and active, 120 lbs at 5"6 and have it.

I am almost 36 weeks of pregnant and have gestational diabetes. I saw my diabetes result today I was pretty mad at me.
