A brownie is good no matter what, and its sometimes the small errors that makes them taste better. Unless its completely burnt

I'd like to see a post/vid of what it should look like with the toothpick coming out, so I have a reference! I struggle with trying to tell if the brownies are underbaked or just gooey/fudgy.

Brownies have to be soft and freshly baked, good flavor, some nuts.when the inside is baked, gave the top time to brown, but not to long.

Word of warning. Make sure it is in fact, parchment paper and NOT wax paper! The latter is designed for waterproofing and wrapping stuff, not for use in the oven. If you do use it, you risk the waxed paper burning the brownies and getting them to stick to the pan.

Ask how I know. :(

Whenever I try a brownie recipe, it comes out raw in the middle. That happens when I use brownie mix too. What am I doing wrong?
