This is actually a condition called Formication involving a sensory feeling of bugs or insects crawling under or inside one’s skin.

Yeah I am type 1 diabetic and that would for sure mean she has nerve damage & it can cause itching or discomfort. It’s why they use electrodes as a form of treatment to help nerve pain.

She made her own tens unit which is meant to use electricity to shock the nerves to help calm them I used one and it helped a lot but after a while it stops due to your body getting used to it

Awh honey...yes i get itchy too. Its seeiously so itchy i totally understand how that would relieve itchiness and pain. Ive cried so many times from my dishydrotic excema because nothing was helping no steroids were helping. So i gave up and decided to fast and cut out gluten dairy and even meats were making me feel bad. Finally feeling better. Only certain meats dont make me feel as horrible.
