So I have black salt is that same thing as activated charcoal?

Does the charcoal alter the taste? I brush my teeth with it, but it's already in the minty toothpaste.

Connie you have to know that when you using activated charcoal it isn't only absorbing heavy metals. It absorbs minerals and vitamins that are beneficial for us. Don't get me wrong, probably small amounts to make food look nice it's ok and there is nothing wrong with using it this way. To get the most benefit from it I would digest it without food and let it absorb as much as possible heavy metals and toxins from my body instead of my food. It doesn't mean I'm not gonna try to make your recipe. Looks amazing and I can almost smell it.
