I'll show you how to use the edit by nodes tool. In this tutorial we will look at the bottom row in the edit by paths tool menu.
Add and delete nodes, join nodes, break path at selected nodes, join and delete node segments, learn the different node types, smooth corner, symmetrical, auto smooth, the difference between stroke to path and object to path, show clipping path and mask path, transformation handles, bezier handles, and finally show path outline.

Found EXACTLY what I needed to know: how to delete a line segment that was in an svg 2d drawing file. Being an absolute newbie with about 10 minutes of experience with Inkscape, I learned the answer by the 4:10 minute point in your video! Thanks!

Noob here. What does "Object-Clip-Set" do? Does it simply color in the foreground layer with all the background layers?

sorry, i know this doesn't belong here but i couldn't find an email to write you so I'm dropping it here,

hi there, is there a way in ink space to select paths/objects based on the pixel area they hold? I can do this in AI with a script but i was wondering if this was either built-in or if someone has written n expansion script to "sel all objects with a space less than or great than or equal too ____ pixels"

thanks for any help you can share

3:00 doesnt work for me... the node handles are not getting loose... idk how to activate them... I remember that the 4 symbols used to have an option to move the node handles but it doesn't work for me :(
