However, disability is not only a normal part of life, but a joyful, interesting, exciting, and loving part of this life. One is either lucky enough to experience disability or unfortunate enough to pass without it.

Our host Donald Barrie, a journalist and blogger with osteogenesis imperfecta or brittle bone disease who uses a power wheelchair, interviews a panel of guests who use various mobility aids: Kate Welsh, Paul Benson, and Stévia Arthur.

Kate Welsh @cripcounseling, is a Toronto-based disability activist, artist, and counselor, who uses a walker.
Paul Benson describes himself as a lifelong student, filmmaker, disability educator. Paul is a quadriplegic person uses a power wheelchair, ventilator, and multiple computer programs and techniques to complete a master’s degree.
Stévia Arthur is a Barbados-born 2SLGBTQ+ activist and artist living in Toronto and he uses crutches.

The panel discusses how their mobility aids have helped them understand how interdependence and relying on community has led them to live better, fuller lives.
