In this Computer Systems Servicing video, we will learn how to extend and shrink volume in Windows 7.

We will use the built-in Disk Management utility.

In some cases, we need to extend volume of a disk partition as perhaps we need to meet the prescribed or required partition size.

On the other hand, we need to shrink volume, in order to facilitate the re-allocation of space to other volumes that need it.

But we cannot shrink the volume as much as we need it to be as there maybe unmovable files.
