Extend and Shrink a Hard Drive Volume

Показать описание
In Windows you can extend volumes on a hard drive if the physical space on that hard drive has not been used up so your volume will be larger to hold more data. On the other hand you can shrink a volume on a drive if you want to use some of the other space for another purpose such as a different volume with a different drive letter. This can be done without affecting the data on that drive assuming you don't try and shrink it smaller than what space the data is taking up. And as always, backup your computer before doing this!
