In this video, I will show you how to resize partition in Windows 10.

Resizing partition means that you can either extend or shrink the size of your hard disk partitions.

In extend partition we will increase the size of partition, while in shrink volume we will reduce volume i.e. reduce the size of drive partition.

To change partition size in windows 10, We are going to use Windows 10 disk management system.

Hopefully, after watching the whole tutorial following steps, you will understand how to resize partition windows 10, if you still face any issue, then please comment below. I will surely respond.
Cheers

Thanks. These days I always confirm that I'm doing things correctly because I've once managed to destroy data by doing things wrong.

Will I lose data by shrinking a partially full drive partition, even if the smaller partition size is larger than the size of the stored data?

Hi, good explanation, I am facing a problem like "There is not Enough Space on the Disk to Complete this Operation" on Windows 10. What do you suggest me do for that? Thanks for your help in advance.

I think aomei backupper is really useful in this part, because it will let me extend partition without deleting it.

I'm falling short of storage on C drive and there's more then needed space on E drive(non-empty). So can I use this process of shrinking and extension process in case of E and C drive?

Hi, unable to allocate more disk space from C drive to an additional drive I have set up . After shrinking certain volume from C - drive ( unallocated volume), I am not getting the extend volume option ( grayed out) on additional drive. Do you have any fix for this ?

Any solution : If Drive G is full but Drive H is totally free, can we re-partition / allocate those free space from H to G as most program files are storing therein in G, say ? Thanks.

Thanks for a easy to understand video. I want to shrink D: by about 50GB and increase C: similarly. Disk manager lets me shrink D:, but it doesn't give me the option of increasing C: afterwards. Do you have any idea why?

Hello sir can I have a 400gb hard drive with 2 partitions, D and E, after that I formatted partition D. Then after Unlocated, I resized partition E using EaseUs after being successful by adding unlocated, a cmd appears with the words "Deleting orphans file segment 4xxx", after success I checked in FileExplorer and it showed up partition E, but my files were missing in it, and the hard drive changed from NTFS to Other. What should I do to restore my files, can they be returned?
