A trinitarian will have trouble with is this one question. If the Holy Spirit is a third Being, why does it not say anywhere in scripture that the Father loves the spirit OF God?? And likewise, why do we never read of Jesus loving the holy spirit?... Comparatively, we DO have verbal affirmation of God's love for his Son, "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my BELOVED Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matt 3:17 This is also confirmed by Jesus stating "Therefore doth my Father LOVE me, because I lay down my life" John 10:17. Also Jesus did say of God "But that the world may know that I LOVE the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do." John 14:31. So...what about this "God the Holy Spirit"? Why no spoken/shared words of love?... Our Bible is silent.

The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. I've been doing a deep study on this topic for years and it goes way back to when they were changing the day of worship and merging with the sun god worshipping pagans. The Roman creeds became the Apostles creeds which became the nicene creeds which then led to the crusades and persecution of those in opposition to the creeds. To see the contrast of the truth vs the lie, look no further than what the Messiah said when asked what the most important commandment was and compare this to a quote from the pope.
The Messiah: "The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:"
Pope Francis: "Each creature testifies that God is three."
I don't know about you all, but I choose to believe what the son of The Most High tells me over what man told me after He left to be with The Father.
