Have you ever studied the trinity? I have, but hadn't really while I was a pastor in the Seventh-day Adventist church for 16 years. I used to teach it, had my Bible marked up with texts that seemed to support it, but then after studying specifically about God in the Bible... WOW! It was AMAZING!!! I have been so blessed.

The concept of the Trinity is not found anywhere in God's Word.
Jesus is the SON of God.
the Holy Spirit is God's.
How does the Father fit in? Do we find an expression 'God's Father' anywhere in the Bible?
Jesus and the Holy Spirit BELONG to God.

The Father himself is the OWNER of both. He is the ONLY God.

1 Corinthians 8:6 there is actually to us ONE GOD, THE FATHER, from whom all things are and we for him; AND there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are and we through him.

Those who perished in the waters of the flood had an opportunity to escape. All were urged to find refuge in the ark; but the multitudes refused to heed the warning. So when the first angel's message was given, all who heard were invited to receive it, and share the blessing to follow its acceptance; but many scorned and rejected the call. One turned to his farm, another to his merchandise, and they cared for none of these things. Inspiration declares that when the antediluvians rejected Noah's words, the Spirit of God ceased to strive with them. So when men NOW despise the warnings which God in mercy sends them, his Spirit after a time CEASES TO AROUSE CONVICTION in their hearts. God gives light to be cherished and obeyed, not to be despised and rejected. The LIGHT which he sends becomes DARKNESS to those who DISREGARD IT. When the Spirit of God ceases to impress the truth upon the hearts of men, all hearing is vain, and all preaching also is vain. 4SP 231.3

1 John 1:3 We have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.

In Christ Jesus own words...

KJV John 17:3
3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Do you need any more information than Jesus Christ words??

I have been a SDA for years and never realized when the church say "Third person" they meant what they meant.
I only realized it recently and was VERY shocked to realize the church believes in the Trinity as the Catholics.
I have never seen the Holy Spirit as a separate "being"
Neither did the pioneers if you study it yourself.
But has ALWAYS seen it as God and Jesus' Spirit that is in all angles, people and created beings that lead us to God and in truth and give us life.

Trinity=Sunday=Antichrist
GodHead=Sabbath=True God
You cant mix these up.

If the Holy Spirit is a different "person" why isn't He mentioned in Rev 1:1 as a person?(He must have been 3rd in heaven in rank then?)
or in Rev 22:3 He doesn't sit on the throne with God and Jesus. If the Holy Spirit is a person surely in the end He will be on the thone as well as a'person' then to be honoured as well?
The Bible never mention that.
I hear you get voted out of chuch for not believing in the trinity?Yet they are ok with abortion in our official church letter.Maybe we should read our Bibles and SOP ourselves rather than listening to leaders in the church then Gods Holy Spirit can convince us instead of wrong teachings of men.
Always remember it was church leaders that crucified Jesus with Rome and leaders will lead you astray in the end times as well.

There is great confusion amongst SDA pastors — some preach tritheism [3 gods] while others preach trinitarianism [modalism] — *where does it leave the members? — in a state of confusion.*

One can openly discuss any subject in Adventist circles but it is totally prohibited to openly discuss the Trinity doctrine on the church premises and in your private conversations, * and I have first-hand experience.

*SDA acknowledged that the Trinity Doctrine is unscriptural:*
*Being a Trinitarian himself, read what Professor of Theology and Philosophy, Emeritus, Fernando L. Canale has to say, *
*"Where though in Scripture can be found such an idea? The answer is, it cannot be found. This is because it is not there. It is purely supposition (philosophical speculation). This is why the trinity doctrine is only an assumed doctrine.* This is even duly recognized in our own denominational handbook of theology: *“The concept of the Trinity, namely the IDEA THAT THE THREE ARE ONE, IS NOT EXPLICITLY STATED BUT ONLY ASSUMED.”* — Fernando L. Canale, The Handbook of Seventh-day Adventist Theology, *Seventh-day Adventist Encyclopaedia, Volume 12, page 138, * ‘Doctrine of God’

*The dictionary defines the word assume as follows:* — *Supposed to be the case, without proof.* *Synonyms:* presume, surmise, *take for granted.*

*The Adventist Review 7-30-1981 Special Issue on Bible Doctrines* — The Trinity was explained one year after it was voted as an official doctrine of the church (which was in 1980; initially composed of 27 fundamental beliefs). *It states, * — *"While no single scriptural passage states formally the doctrine of the Trinity, it is assumed* as a fact by Bible writers... *Only by faith can we accept the existence of the Trinity."* (p. 4) [Adventist Review, Vol 158, No. 31, p.4

“The Scripture were designed by God for practical living and *not for speculative theorizing.* Hence, *they contain no systematic exposition on the nature of the Godhead.* The Christian statement regarding the Trinity is an attempt to state the *biblical paradox (which Scripture never attempts to resolve)* that there is *One God* (see Deuteronomy 6:4; James 2:19), yet *existing in three Persons* (see Matthew 28:19: 2 Corinthians 13:14).” (Frank Holbrook, Signs of the Times, July 1985, “Frans answers’).

*Notice what Inspiration says, * “In this age of the world there is no safety in departing from *a plain “Thus saith the Lord, ” however wise and correct the human assumption may appear.* Tradition in names and books is nothing. God's word is everything. *The wisdom of the wisest man that lives is foolishness if it swerves one jot or tittle from the word of the living God.* God lives, God reigns, and He declares, “Them that honor me I will honor.” Of those who place their sophistry above *a plain “Thus saith the Lord, ” God says, “I will make their wisdom foolishness.”* BTS May 1, 1913, par. 3

*Richard Rice says, * "The role of the trinity in a doctrine of God *always raises questions.* One reason is that the word itself does not appear in the Bible, nor is there any clear statement of the idea. But the *Bible does set the stage* for its formulation, and the concept represents a development of biblical claims and concepts. So even though *the doctrine of the trinity is not part of what the Bible itself says about God, * it is part of what the church must say *to safeguard the biblical view of God."* - Richard Rice, The Reign of God, An Introduction to Christian Theology from a Seventh-day Adventist Perspective’, page 89, 'A constructive proposal', 1985.

*Notice Rice says, * — *“the doctrine of the trinity is not part of what the Bible itself says about God” “nor is there any clear statement of the IDEA”* yet he adds that *“to safeguard the biblical view of God”* - *THE CHURCH HAD TO FORMULATE THIS TEACHING.* This is what is called the “law of contradiction” meaning “a thing cannot at the same time both be and not be of a specified kind or in a specified manner.

Then he says, — *“the Bible does set the stage”* for the formulation of the trinity doctrine. This again is the admittance that the trinity doctrine is extra-canonical, meaning its existence is not contained in the canon of Scripture. Also, don’t miss the point Rice is making. He says the doctrine of the trinity is what *“the church must say”* about God. It is not what the Bible says about God.

*Now, be honest and you tell me, is it proper for the GC of the SDA Church to impose its synthesis on members, and discipline those who conscientiously do not agree with the church’s reasoning, even though those members accept everything the Bible actually says?*

So help me understand Ted. (1.) If trinity is 3 coequal beings (playing different roles), then Jesus is the son of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18) not the Father. (2.) How can the Father be the head of Christ (1 Corinthians 11:3) if they are equal? (3.) Why wasn't the Holy Spirit (if equal) invited to the last dance. Just the Father and the Lamb (Jesus) sit on thrones after the end of days. I could go on with questions, but no need. I am not a scholar in the Word of God, just a child really, asking a child's questions. As a sinner I have fallen for many lies of the "father of lies", but not this one. I firmly believe and worship God the Father and His Son Jesus (Real not a metaphor per SDA sermons and publications). Period!!! I pray for the Father's Holy Spirit thru His Son Jesus for guidance and comfort. Final thought, just maybe the remnant is to come out of the SDA church.

Imagine answering a past questions the most brilliant and humble guy in your class has answered several years ago and you go to him to help you. But, because you are not open minded you don't embrace the answer. The devine Godhead's ultimate character, Love is the only attribute, not even power, will make you understand the The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit as three distinct and co-eternal persons.

Co-eternal persons? That destroys the Sonship of Jesus.

And we know that the SON of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know HIM who is true; and we are in HIM who is true, in HIS SON Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
1 John 5: 20

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent
John 17: 3

In their Fundamental Beliefs, SDAs *DO NOT* believe in the trinitarian doctrine; rather, they believe in tritheism...three gods: God the Father (correct), "God the Son", and "God the Holy Spirit" (both are unbiblical as Pr. Mesa has stated for years). The trinity is the humanistic philosophy of three co-eternal persons in one triune being (whatever that means). Said another way: tritheism is three gods; trinitarianism is a three-headed god. Blasphemy either way.

Further, as Pr. Mesa stated, observance of Shabbat means *NOTHING* if one fails to understand the first command. In Deut 6:4 we read, "Sh'mah Yisra-el, Yᵊhōvâ eluhenu Yᵊhōvâ echad." Echad means one...always in the ordinal and singular sense. Entering into the covenant of Deut 6 means to accept the only true God, who binds upon the hand and between the eyes His name and His character...all thru His Son, who is the true Shabbat. As Yᵊhōvâ rested in the beginning (NOTE: no evening and morning in Gen 2:1-3), so He rested in His finished work in Jesus, thru redemption and recreation (i.e., born again if one chooses). Thus, one receives shalom, peace.

This final work accentuates Shabbat more than most people understand, in that, it cannot be "kept" by anyone, but rather, thru acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior, He keeps it for the believer as the believer enters into covenant and observes Shabbat's significance.

First of all, the name of our creator is not god but Yahuwah and he has a son who repeatedly said. "The father is greater than I am. All authority is given me. I am in the father and the father is in me. They share the same spirit. I once believed in the trinity but left the behind. Even calling our Creator is breaking the third commandment. Be a set apart one and love Yahuwah our great Elhim with all your heart and all you might and all your strength. do not follow men but study His word!

Notice that he gave his perspective and not the biblical understanding. He has his freedom of choice. So do I.

Thank you Brother Daniel for this video. I left he SDA church when I found out the truth of the Trinity doctrine in the SDA church. We must come out of Babylon completely. God bless you and your ministry!

It's ironic that Wilson would use the globe as a background image when talking about his Sun Triune god Helios.

Can brother Daniel, or any of his followers, write down a statement of what they believe regarding the Godhead? It does not have to be a long statement, more like how one of the SDA 28 beliefs are stated. If you don't have time, at least can you put up a link to a statement like that? I would greatly appreciate that.

The president did look and sound quite spooky @1:35.
'I'm telling you, from my perspective, what the Bible says... the triNity.'
Just plain eerie.
Really.
