Looking through the penpal videos, most of them focus on the aesthetics which of course is ok and fun but i find myself pressured to make it look nice when really i want the main core to be about conversation, especially in this digital age. Thank you it was a really lovely video!

I used to be bad at opening letters aswell but my dad carved me a letter opener out of wood and it was really cool and worked well I suggest u use one if u tend to rip them like me :)🥰have a good day!!

In Germany you also write in the uper left corner your own adress and in the right Side the adress, where you wanna send your Letter.
But WE writing the adress differently :
First Name, Family Name
(Company Name or other Information)
Streetname & house Number
Postal code & City
Country (If it's a international Letter)

At the uper right corner comes the post stamp.

I've had a few penpals when "snailmail" was tge only thing available.

Most were friends from areas I once lived and unfortunately never recieved a response from school pen pal programs.

Except this oddly specific arrangement where a school I went to released helium balloons with a tag that requested anyone that found the balloon respond to the address on the attached tag.

3 of us tied our ballons together to get more distance out of our collective ballons and recieved a letter from a Texas family vacationing and camping along a river 400 miles away.

I've embrassed e-mail and find penpals via online games now from all over the world.

Like the games well enough but it's meeting people that actually gets me to play.

But as someone that likes to draw and do calligraphy.

Ol'fashioned letters are something I enjoy more if a person is comfortable with that.

Just something *really* special to get even a simple postcard in the mailbox. 😊👍
