You can try some more things to gain control over your hand like :
1. Brushing from you left hand
2. Typing from your left hand
3. Try picking up objects from your left hand
This will force your left hand subconsciously to work and help you have a better control on it.
A tip from a orthopedic 🤗

I did this when I was in about 3rd grade. I was always amazed at how lefties would write. I would practice and practice. Alot of years and practice later, now Id say Im ambidextrous : )

Just a tip to turn your paper a bit to the left when practicing : )

This is a useful skill for someone who uses their right hand for alot of task. I have an office job were I type all day and my hobbies are embroider and violion so my right hand is always being used. I had to take a break for a couple of weeks due to overuse of the right hand. I decided to learn left hand so I can take the strain off of it by writing and useing the mouse with my left hand instead of right.

You write better than I do with my right hand. I’m a leftie.

I tried this for a day but now I'm inspired to go for 30 - I broke my left pinky last summer and have been trying to find ways to engage my L (non-dominant) hand as it had gotten stiff from being immobilized. TY for this!

i want to learn left-hand writing because i think it's really neat, and also my hands tend to cramp up when writing, so it'd be useful to switch between them lol

Very-well explained that the key to learn something new or for success, is consistency and repetition. 👍

I'm left-handed, but have always used a completely terrible writing grip. This is the only video I could find that showed a proper posture in use from a first-person angle, which is exactly what I needed for a reference point. Trying to write correctly still feels completely wrong, but this view helps me better than anything else out there!

Wow. This is inspiring. Just 15 mins a day for 30 days? You know what I'm going to try from today.

After my stroke, I realized anything can happen at any time that may affect my dominant hand. I have full operation now, but It's my goal to become as ambidextrous as possible. Just in case. Thanks for sharing!

It’s a very useful skill! I had a challenging exam under extreme time pressure at uni once. When my hand would cramp I’d just switch. While most failed this exam, I contribute a big part of passing to being ambidextrous. That is 1 out of maybe 3 times it was a useful skill 😁 Other 2 being injury to right hand. Also, you can now practice drawing with both hands!
