I found was grossly undereducated men who called themselves “preachers” or “pastors” who were chiefly interested in:
1. Making money
2. Gaining popularity
3. Spreading a false gospel

It was quite obvious to me they had very little Biblical knowledge.

MacArthur, on the other hand, has a vast knowledge of the Bible and goes to great pains to explain it so articulately. I can honestly say that he changed the direction of my life. I am forever grateful to find such a wonderful teacher. Therefore, I’ve created this YouTube channel in order to propagate his accurate and thorough Biblical teachings.

My wife used a man - made law ( irreconcilable differences ) 22 years ago to divorce me and remarried. The spirit has led me to remain alone as long as shes living. Yes, it is considered abandonment. But my concern is Eternal Life. So, I'll stay alone and pray for her in the meantime. When I made my vow, I did for life. Amen

I married a pastor 7months ago but after my marriage I came to know he is having Affair with the church member, now he sent me the divorce notice but I love him so much I don't understand what to do right now I am with so much of pain and depression please everyone pray for me that we both unite together again

If a spouse who says they are a Christian, but does not have a desire for Church or fellowship, does not choose to be a spouse, they are not willing to parent, or assist in the house, they are violent around the children, unwilling to feed the children, showing a negative angry spirit constantly with children. How does the Church address these situations? It's not adultery, or literal abondoment, but it causes massive personal and household disruptions which create atmospheres of no peace. These situations which do occur cause a lot of Child abuse. Many Pastors are silent on this. The situations get so bad that divorces happen. Can these people remarry or are they stuck with burning in their desires? The Church really does not lead here.

this guy makes a lot of assumptions without basis. in matt Jesus describes porneia as a reason for divorce..this describes the situation joseph was in with marry...unchastity before marriage is what he suspected marry of...he would have been within his rights to put her away during the betrothal period..b tu what the Father has joined, let no man put asunder.

I went through a lot of financial crisis during my divorce, I had to raise my two kids alone, Currently I'm living smart and frugal with my money. Bought my second house already. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for me; even till now I earn monthly through passive income. I'm planning on retiring when my kids finish college..

My wife a devorce woman I could not unser stard what the church had a gance devorce One day Jesus purposly stop at the well to talk to the semarian woman We find that she had been maried and devorced many times and Jesus wanted to save her The story of the woman at the well is a rich example of love, truth, redemption, and acceptance. And best of all, not only does Jesus accept her, but He accepts us, too. He wants us all in His holy kingdom, if only we, too, believe.

So many offer advice on this topic without understanding so be careful about using the comment section to shape doctrine. If you are Christian I trust the Spirit will lead you to understanding on this topic if you just continue prayerfully in a deep study of the OT passages like Deuteronomy, Jeremiah etc. learning the Hebrew and of course the NT passages learning the Greek. Also helps to understand the customs/practices formed by pharisaic types who as usual made a mess of things…

How can you remary if Scripture CLEARLY states in Mark 10:10-12 that it will be adultery. Also keeping in mind that the judgment for adultery is so great according to 1 Corinthians 6:9

I wanted to ask if I got a devorce between me and wife becuase they were to many arguments on both sides, but I remain single but I just found out with proof that she is sleeping with another men . Em I still bond by the bible law to remain single and never get married again?

Did Macarthur actually answer the guy's question at 0:20? The other gentleman was asking if a Christian unknowingly marries another person who is not legitimately divorced, is the first person committing adultery? Is their marriage sanctified?

God is holly, He expects His children to worship Him in spirit and truth. We need to stop justifying sin, please Pastor show me a verse in the bible where God permits remarriage.

I know God hates divorce but how does he feel about breaking up a relationship when your not married ?

What about a spouse who is abused? Mentally, or physically or spiritually? Does God really want this for a person?
