A survey was done recently outside a large penticostal church in texas as members were coming out from service the question was " would you have any spare time to help out at our local homeless shelter and food bank anytime at all ?" A phone number was handed out . 75 people were asked how many agreed on that morrning?

Several said they didnt have time because they were in the middle of an end times conference ....?
Go figure people ...distraction from following jesus is your worst enemy ....reading and listening to repetition on topics you already know about over and again while the real work is forgotten.😢

I love and appreciate anointed teachers like John MacArthur. I believe all teachers (not including Jesus), including the Apostle Paul had doctrinal flaws and blindness to truth. According to the Bible, like Jesus, Paul grew in Grace and Truth. Paul is God’s masterpiece and was molded and transformed into the image of Christ… yet he sinned and made mistakes and argued doctrine with Peter and James, who were themselves “off” a bit, and required correction, repentance, and maturity IN CHRIST. My point is, John ignores Scripture to hold on to false doctrine regarding tongues. The Bible is extremely clear on the subject. Paul is extremely clear. There is no ambiguity on what Paul taught. John MacArthur teaching on “tongues” is extra biblical and it’s not supported by Scripture and it’s his conjecture and opinion despite what Paul teaches. John MacArthur is just like Peter, Paul, and James. They were a work in progress and they continued to learn IN CHRIST and they grew IN CHRIST until the end. John is wrong on the pursuit of the spiritual gifts, or at least John has a dispute with Paul and his letters to the Corinthians
