FAST Pokémon Shiny Hunt YOU Should Try!

Today I show a fun & fast Pokemon shiny hunt that you should try, in HeartGold and SoulSilver versions! This is a great way to pass time while waiting for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to come out!

I remember when I got sword and shield I began to figure out what the soft reset button combo was, only to find out there was none lol.

My favorite hunt in this game is Gyrados in Lake of Rage! It’s always so challenging!

Another easy shiny hunt I've found is the Spiritomb in ORAS, because since you need to pause the game and select an option that hides the overworld and when you unpause the game the battle will start, if you save after selecting the option (but before closing the pause menu) every time you restart the game you're immediately thrown into the battle! The only button presses are to reset the game! So it's an incredibly fast reset cycle!

This was my introduction to shiny hunting 5 years ago. After that I started streaming shiny hunting and really got to know the community. I quit bout 2 years ago, but damn that was a fun time in my life.

I’ve done this hunt before, I was looking for a shiny Totodile but got Cyndaquil. I really wanted Totodile tho and let’s just say after months of hunting I finally got my Shiny Totodile… and 4 shiny Cyndaquil

i did this in my two copies of heart gold. one of them took about a week of soft resetting in my free time to get a shiny chikorita, and in my other game i got a shiny cyndaquil in like 80 resets

I did this one! It took me 5 days but I got my beautiful blue totodile. I’m at the base of mount silver now and Tanzanite is all grown up as a gorgeous feraligatr

I NEVER got a shiny in the older generations.

Apparently it’s so much easier now bcuz I’ve caught 2 on my brand new Scarlet playthrough

Step 1: Own Heart Gold or Soul Silver

Hunted the totidile for 3 weeks, got the chikorita twice... still chances are much faster and better in the new games, but if you're going for classics this method works for all static encounters in this game other than the shiny locked pokemon.

Now that I think about it, I might go for this Shiny hunt, I tried to Shiny Hunt on Pokemon Crystal on the 3DS, but after a long time I thought that it wasn't worth damaging my "A" or "B" button for it. But considering that these are the same Starters, as long as there isn't much talk before the Shiny Check... Let's go.

I would say FireRed/LeafGreen is also pretty quick. The one I dreaded the most was UltraSun! Although, they say Sun/Moon were much slower than the Ultra games.

got a shiny totodile in three soft resets after i remembered this fact and decided to try it out on a whim. named him Happy. totodile is still my fav mon to this day because of it. every game i play that has totodile available to get i always shiny hunt it in memory of Happy

This was my first hunt actually, and it’s still why I don’t despise chikorita
