Finding Shiny Pokemon is SURPRISINGLY EASY in Scarlet and Violet [guide + LIVE shiny encounter]

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are finally here and with them come changes to popular shiny hunting methods including mass outbreaks and the Masuda method! We'll be taking a look at how to get shiny pokemon using one of these methods, and see how I got my very first shiny in the Paldea region: shiny Paldean Wooper!

Small tip: instead of using so much ingredients, use bananas, butter and peanut butter for egg power 2 (which is like 10 eggs every 2-5 mins)

It is really easy to hunt for Shines, Finding them is the hard part. Like Shines that Barely Change could be a bit difficult to spot, especially with the new Generation of Pokémon

This might be a weird thing but I've started doing all of my egg hatching in the Team Star Poison base in the Tagtree Thicket. There are no pokemon that spawn in there and if you go to the middle and are far enough away from the 4 NPCs on the Cyclizars you can set up a picnic without having to leave the area like you do in towns, and then I can just hold my control stick to the right with one hand and run in a circle until they hatch. There is no lag in here because nothing in spawning and the NPCs dont move so I dont have to avoid anything. It's a nice spot to just passively get eggs and hatch.

Your reaction was adorable! When I see a shiny my heart either feels like it stopped for a second or is going beat right out of my chest. Like when I hatched a shiny dusk form Rockruff on my birthday in like 8 eggs in Ultra Moon. I wasn't even trying to get a shiny, I was just hatching and raising them to trade to people who didn't have them at the time, it was like the game gave me a birthday present. I named her Alberta since my birthday happens to be on Canada Day! :3

You know what’s unfair, I started Pokémon Scarlet 10 hours before my little brother but in his 10 hours in a game he found 2 full odds shiny’s in 5 minutes

You can also hatch eggs in the team start bases, where pokemon don't spawn and you can still picnic

My first shiny in Scarlet/Violet was Gyarados. I really do love Gyarados in red, so I was very happy with that. Still thinking over what to name my big bby Pokemon!

I also got my favorite shiny! Wasn’t my find though. My friend found it during a Tera raid and gifted it to me! Making him even more special. That being Zorua. I have two Shiny Zoruas and Hisui Zoroark and Zorua waiting to explore the new region with me!
