It will only work if the odds are the same before and after the switch, so don’t try it during a community day, but it should work between two go fest habitats or at the end of a spotlight hour

❗❗❗It DOESNT work on community days, for this to work both pokemons need to have the same shiny ODDS, comm day shiny are 1/25, normal mons are 1/500. This works during go fest and with spotlight hours

During the Axew community day I happened to find a shiny just as I ran out of pokeballs.. I quickly bought some more, but when I clicked on the spawn again it disappeared
Edit: the event had JUST ended too

Don't do it at the end of community day, the spawns disappear completely.

I did this at the end of the All star CD 2021 but lost a shiny Lixy. This is due to the number of spawn after the CD which is lower than during it. So after the end of the CD my Lixy turned into absolutely nothing. But even after this I knew this glitch work It's just that I had no luck 😂

I dis this once during a voltorb spotlight hour (Maybe 2021? I forgot.) I had maybe 3 from it and encountered a 4th. I screamed in absolute chaos when it became a shiny Aerodactyl.

Thanks so much for this video! I found my 2nd Shiny Ekans minutes before Phantump Spotlight hour, and I didn’t have the shiny. I waited the few minutes, and the shiny Ekans turned into my first ever Shiny Phantump!

I don’t know if this has been fixed or what but I tried this last community day and the Pokémon that was shiny before it changed was not shiny after the event ended (yes the Pokémon that showed up after could be shiny, it was a Pidove)

It didn't work just tried this out recently on this spotlight hour but the shiny got swapped with marshtomp which has absolutely no chance of being shiny
