Try my Push-Pull-Legs 9 week workout program! Find it here 👉🏼 dylansprogram.com

Included in this program is the exact training model I used to propel myself from a scrawny hardgainer to a successful fitness influencer and natural bodybuilding competitor within just a couple years.

The best workout split is the one that you enjoy the most

Training 6 days in a row is pretty heavy for the body if you train high intensity, volume or weight. If you want sustainability, I suggest working out push pull legs for 3 days, then rest the fourth day and continue that

ive tried every single workout split. but personally have been doing the push pull legs for a long time. but what i do differently to him is, instead of “skipping” legs or a push day, i just do that the next time i go. so i never really skip any parts. and in terms of rest, i only rest when my body tells me that i need one. its a really good way to go.

I like Chest and Back, Arms and Delts, then Lower Body and Abs

Pull push legs is better than push pull legs (LOL). Training legs (squats) with a sore back? Hell nah.

Push, legs, pull, off and repeat. If it miss a day it ain’t no thing. Best split I’ve ever done.

Alternative: Upper and lower split. This is if you don't have 6 days too workout.

I find this is easier if you have a full time job and family to manage or if time is an issue. Same frequency with a bit less volume and more days off. Most people waste time doing a bunch of sets per lift and a lot of isolation work when the vast majority of the benefit comes from the first set and compound movements anyway.

Chest Shoulder Triceps
Back Biceps Forearms (Upper-Back Focused)
Legs (Hamstring Focused)
Chest and Back (Lat Focused)
Shoulder Tricep Bicep
Legs (Quad Focused)
Rest.

Best one:
Monday:Full body
Tuesday:rest
Wednesday:full body
Thursday:rest
Friday:full body
Saturday:rest
Sunday:Full body
Doesn't matter what da of the week and shit, just a day for training and next for rest
Allows you to train your entire body 3-4 times a week instead of 1-2

I'm on my 26th week of PPL and I'm keeping it going! I've gained +20kg since 2021 started, and you and Drew are one of the reason I begun training to get healthier! <3

The accountability aspect can be applied to any split tho.
Also don’t completely demolish the muscle if you do PPL you will get injured; especially if you’re natural.

Just throwing my routine out here, if anyone wants to consider it:

Day 1-Quads, shoulders, Chest, Triceps, Calves, Abs, Neck Flexion.

Day 2- Rest (I like to go for a nice long walk on these days)

Day 3-Posterior Chain (Glutes/Hams/Lower Back), Back, Biceps, Forearms, Abs (Oblique Focus), Neck Extension.

Day 4-Rest and repeat

I also like to have every second cycle focused on strength and power, as the first will be more hypertrophy/technique based. I believe this split is pretty solid, and not terribly overwhelming...provided that you use supersets. They'll certainly help crunch time. I think the "weekly" mindset is very limiting to be honest. Also, if you ever have an off day and need an extra day off once in a while to get your life stuff together..it won't hurt the flow at all.

Great video, Dylan! PPL is a decent split.

Bro, most people cannot go to the gym 6 times per week. For most people, going to the gym is not a job like it is to many internet fitness influencers. Most people need a routine that works in which they can go 2-4 days per week to the gym.
In my case, I go 3 or 4, and I make sure to hit every muscle group twice per week.
