Absolutely Stunning Curvy Thin-Walled Black Walnut Bowl - Woodturning It Wet 💦

In this video, I turn a curvy, thin-walled bowl from a cherry picked blank that I cut out of a Black Walnut log behind the shed. I cannot stop turning this walnut, but I do not think that is a problem. Lol. I like to keep walnut logs (for bowl and turning blanks) in the rough, outside where they can weather and take on staining to add more character until I can get to turning it. This time I saw something on the end of the log that looked like there may be figure inside. I am not wrong and turn a bowl with stunning grain, coloring and figure. I finish it with Mahoney’s Walnut Oil. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed making it.

(150-320grit on lathe, 400-600grit off)
Finished with Mahoney’s Walnut Oil
