I'm very attracted to an ace person rn. I love how passionate she is with everything she does, her accent, her charisma, likes to draw, has the same music taste, she's also pretty and loves animals like me. I know she's not in the mood for relationships since she broke up with someone recently, thus why I'll profit this time to know her better.

Tho, since asexuals have a very large spectrum, it's a bit embarrassing to ask abt those things to her when we are just friends.

Like, If everything goes well, will I be able to kiss her and hug her? Will she feel weirded out knowing I had sexual desires? I really like her sm, but I don't want to make her uncomfortable.

As an ace person the response is so sad. Feeling the need to hide it and try to force yourself next time because 'its normal' and 'it should be fine' is heartbreaking. People please respect your own bounderies. You can always get out of your comfort zone slowly if you feel comfortable to try something. Dont push yourself too hard.

I know that feeling of being asexual. When I was 15, I didn't understand why all my friends and people. Someone liked them and I didn't, I don't know the feeling of falling in love and now I'm 20 and the same thing happens to me... Although many people declare their love to me, telling me they want to be my partner... I feel like when a friend of mine confesses to me, it ruins the relationship. They only think about that. But I didn't know what it was like to be asexual. Now I just focus on what I like to do. I don't give much importance to that anymore, but this video came out and made me think.

I hate hating physical touch. I'm ace, but if I ever had a partner romantically, I hope I can overcome or enjoy physical touch without fear of pain, sex, or uncomfortable feelings from being touched.

My fear of being touched isn't rooted to being ace, but that is a factor that helped grow the anxiety.
