Do you need to wear sunscreen indoors?

You know in the heat of the summer you should wear sunscreen outdoors...but do you need to wear it all the time, even when you're staying inside?

My take: If you plan to go outdoors for more than 10 minutes during daylight, including commuting anywhere or even just walking your dog or working in your yard, you should probably use sunscreen. If you will be exposed to direct light coming through a window or a lot of diffuse light like glass walls or skylights, you should probably use sunscreen. If you’re going to be indoors all day, exposed to low levels of diffuse and artificial light, you probably don’t need sunscreen. If the UV index is really low where you are and you won’t be outside more than 15-20 minutes, it’s really your call, but you probably don’t need sunscreen.

You can get the UV index for your area. In high risk days, it is probably best to avoid the sun.

I didn't even know people used sun screen for other than the beach!
I always thought it was so that their skin doesn't get darker. This sounds actually insane to me.. I don't think I can believe it....

Honestly if you go out in the sun definitely apply sunscreen. But I feel like the more you complicate your skin care routine the more your skin suffers.

So interesting how everything has changed for the better, I remember my mom loved to tan, making me go out and lay under the sun, and she had very bad pigmentation because of that. Asians are right, sun is not our friend, we should hide from it .
