I sobbed in the theater during this scene. I was so caught off guard when this came up on the screen, it was like a jolt of lightning hit me. I saw Maverick's immediate response and his quiet reply of "I don't know how" and the floodgates opened. I've lost 11 friends to suicide in the last 11 years and that statement of "It's time to let go" just overwhelmed me. How? How do we let go of those we loved and lost? I don't want to let them go. Can anybody tell me how? I don't know how to let go.
