Today, this movie became the first ever billion dollar film for Tom Cruise just a week before he turns 60. What a gift this must be for him. I’m sure he would have given up on a billion knowing that only superheroes and CGI spectacles can reach that coveted number, but this movie blew beyond the wildest of expectations. Well deserved for this magnificent blockbuster.

Got teary eyed at work--- They flew over my Mom and Dad, both are buried at Fort Rosecrans. My father was a US Navy Aviator. I saw Top Gun with my father when the original movie came out. The movie's premier is on my son's 19th birthday 2020. I will be there.
