I remember this episode very well. Jeremy came down to my hometown of fort pierce. The news was all over the place because nearly everyone fishes down here. God I miss river monsters

I am so glad Jeremy covered this one.
I was home on vacation from a job in Kansas and fishing every day for a week at this very same beach. Within 50 yards of where this happened.
My wife and I fished until 1:00am the night before and slept in on that day. I woke up and asked her if she wanted to go again. She said let's take the day off. Thank God!

So we did.
My mother worked for the park service at the beach. She came home and told us what happened.
I was in that water the night before and the channels as you entered the water were just so creepy 😳!
I could take 3 steps from shore and sink to my neck, then in 3 more steps be only as deep as my knees.

I actually felt angry and guilty because we didn't go. Until later, when people started accusing the uncle for shark fishing when Kessie was attacked.

I'm glad he survived and things look good. I just hope that he's not got any fear of going back into the water.
