The holy prophet Muhammad (S. A. W) Already told this 1400 years ago. He said, the best among deed that God like is the one which is consistent even it is small.

Takeaway points:

You change the questions, you change what the brain stores

What small trivial step could I take that May in the long run improve the process or product?

@thekaizenway Could you provide details about this recording? For example, who the speaker is, where they are speaking, when it occurred, etc.

@ 7.28 the answer is Diffused mode of thinking. Dr. Barbara Oakley has studied and explained this.

I may be wrong, but Kaizen is not ancient. Deming went to Japan, at their request, to assist in rebuilding their devastated industry after the war. He is often considered one of (if not the one) founder of the Quality Management movement.

Anybody else notices that brain wave sound that runs throughout the beginning of the video?

yes but....Kaizen is also a model of labor exploitation, to obtain capital gain on the part of the workers. as the ideas of continuous improvement usually arise from the same employees.
the company gains in time improvements, quality security, productivity, etc. at the end of the day everything is translated into capital, and the only direct benefited is the company.
the issue here is reciprocity if the people who contribute productive ideas to the company will be paid at least 3% with residual income as a royalty while their idea is in use and has benefits to the company.
in that case the flow of good ideas would increase. and the life of those who contribute ideas would be recognized and respected in an ethical and just way.

Mother Teresa?
Why must this speech end with propaganda?

"no evidence of application until Americans ..." Please - enough with the American arrogance. There are plenty of applications prior to the Americans - a little more research would have showed this
